Job Description

Senior Electrical Engineer role focused on low and medium voltage power distribution systems for heavy industrial and underground mining environments. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field from an ABET-accredited program 7+ years of engineering experience focused on power distribution in industrial or mining environments Experience designing low and medium voltage electrical infrastructure Experience with power delivery systems ranging from 480V to 35kV Experience with comprehensive electrical system analysis Experience interpreting complex electrical blueprints, technical schematics, and engineering drawings Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical system faults using specialized diagnostic instruments Ability to support varying work hours as required Ability to travel periodically for onsite technical support and system integration Preferred Skills Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer designation OSHA or MSHA certification Experience integrating power substations into underground mining or industrial environments Experience integrating automated control systems into underground operational environments Experience with automated control logic for power distribution systems Knowledge of underground power infrastructure, mining power systems, and related industry technologies Experience developing technical verification protocols for safety and performance requirements Job Responsibilities Direct the creation and refinement of power delivery frameworks for heavy industrial and underground mining environments Oversee engineering projects from initial concept through final installation Develop system architecture plans for electrical power distribution systems Incorporate automated control logic into power delivery and infrastructure designs Prepare project financial projections and formal pricing proposals Monitor project timelines during bidding and execution stages Establish and conduct technical verification protocols for equipment safety and performance standards Support machinery validation against required safety and performance benchmarks Coordinate with mechanical design teams and specialized engineering departments to resolve technical issues Support product advancements related to power distribution and underground infrastructure Provide technical guidance and quality control support for less experienced engineering team members Perform onsite technical support, diagnostics, and system integration assistance Interface with clients during installation, troubleshooting, and technical support activities Track technological developments and industry changes related to underground power infrastructure
Pay:
