Controls Engineer

Job Summary Key Responsibilities Design, program, and commission control systems for automated equipment and manufacturing processes Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Omron) Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues to minimize downtime Support new equipment installations and production line upgrades Create and maintain control system documentation, including electrical schematics, I/O lists, and network diagrams Collaborate with mechanical engineers, electricians, integrators, and suppliers during system design and implementation Ensure compliance with safety standards, machine guarding requirements, and applicable regulations Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
