Job Description
Job Title:
Project Controls Engineer Responsibilities Perform machine function testing to ensure control panel components, field devices, and wiring comply with design specifications and meet UL508A, UL698A, and NEC requirements. Develop, modify, and optimize PLC, HMI, and VFD programs to support the operation of industrial and process equipment. Integrate control system hardware and software, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, safety devices, and relays, into new and retrofit machinery builds. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and drives during machine checkout, startup, and field service, working with 480/120/24V systems. Provide remote technical support for electrical and control system troubleshooting via phone, email, and remote connections. Prepare and maintain project documentation such as electrical drawings, controller tag lists, process narratives, and control operational documents. Perform drawing updates using Solidworks and AutoCAD. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
