Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will plan, develop, and review Plant Design & Piping (PD&P) work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project. You will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review and approve drawings, calculations, and bid summaries. You will solve complex technical issues and ensure PD&P designs comply with all regulations and standards. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.#LI-AM3

Major Responsibilities:

Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews design work within a small-size PD&Pdesign work group on projects of medium size or assignments in support of globalbusiness unit Produces drawings and documentation in accordance with established design and scopeincluding design of earthwork, drainage,road design,foundation, and steel detailing. Ensures PD&P systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes,and standards Coordinates and interfaces as directed with the day-to-day technical work of PD&Pengineers,specialists, designers and drafters Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to uppermanagement Facilitates technical discussions with third parties Prepares or oversees the preparation of PD&P design estimates and work plan inaccordance with project scope, schedule and budget,and manages implementation andperformance accordingly Develops Engineering Department Procedures(EDPs), Bechtel design guides,appropriate Bechtel Standard Computer Applications(BSAPs) and administrativepractices Coordinates with client representatives as delegated to obtain approval on phases of work Reviews key PD&P engineering drawings and calculations and bidsummaries Coordinates assigned PD&P design work with other project groups Mentors PD&P designers and drafters by providing appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development Ensures PD&P systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes and standards

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (orinternational equivalent) and 8-10 years ofrelevant experience or 12-14 years of relevantwork experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Must be authorized to live and work in the US without sponsorship. Seasoned, experienced professional in developing, managing, and maintaining BIM models with defined LOD specifications (LOD 100-500) for the engineering discipline of Plant Design and Piping. Highly skilled & proficient with 3d-modeling of complex piping systems, pipe supports, and modeling of mechanical equipment for a large industrial manufacturing facility (semiconductor fabs or data centers) project. Expert knowledge of CAD design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods used by the discipline. Highly proficient in the use of 3d Modeling tools; AutoCAD Revit and Navisworks. Vast experience with multi discipline interface management and global 3D model oversight. Experience in reading, interpreting, and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups. Good listening, oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience on a medium or major size project in engineering management at Bechtel. Previous modularization, OSM, modular piping design project execution experience. Knowledge of Bechtel Engineering Department Procedures. Prior experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield projects in one or more of the following market segments: Semiconductor, Data Center, Electric Vehicle, or EV Battery.
