Job Description
Electrical Revit/BIM Designer responsible for electrical power distribution, lighting, and grounding system drafting and design for advanced facility projects. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree in a relevant field At least 8 years of Revit/BIM electrical design experience 6 years of semiconductor experience Experience with team leadership interaction Experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects Understanding of electrical power system equipment and components, including switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, and UPS systems Familiarity with NEC requirements Familiarity with electrical design requirements Experience responding to RFIs Experience reviewing submittals Experience performing site walks Construction administration lead experience Ability to perform computer-aided drafting and design Ability to create layouts, sketches, 2D models, 3D models, and electronic document files in Revit Preferred Skills Industrial facility design experience Mission critical facility design experience Semiconductor facility design experience Experience coordinating complex design packages with engineers and design leads Experience supporting multidisciplinary design teams Responsibilities Perform computer-aided drafting and design for electrical power distribution systems Perform computer-aided drafting and design for lighting systems Perform computer-aided drafting and design for grounding systems Create Revit layouts, sketches, 2D models, 3D models, and electronic document files Deliver complex electrical design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads Support electrical design delivery for advanced facility projects Respond to RFIs Review submittals Perform site walks Support construction administration activities Coordinate electrical design work with engineers, design leads, and project teams
