Summary We are seeking a talented MEP Schematic Designer to join our team in California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing detailed schematic designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that support our projects' success. Responsibilities Develop detailed schematic designs for MEP systems using AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards. Coordinate with engineers and architects during the design process. Review project requirements and prepare schematic diagrams accordingly. Assist in resolving design issues through effective troubleshooting. Support project documentation and revisions. Ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Contribute to project meetings and provide technical insights. Qualifications Proven experience in MEP schematic design or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Knowledge of industry standards and local building codes. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Experience working on residential or commercial projects is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
