Essential Functions Members of our electrical design team are responsible for all aspects of design throughout the engineering process Perform detailed design: System, harnessing, CABU W6 ANS circuit board Hands on work in assembly, test, electrical wiring, connectors, cabling, harnesses and various RPM components Support fabrication and testing of digital and analog circuits for pedestal mount, servo, and processor systems Coordinate and follow through all phases of product/project Research component obsolescence Familiarity with digital and analog electronics theory and applications is preferred Having knowledge of electronics design environment: Orcad Schematic capture, FPGA design/development is preferred. AutoCAD is a plus Familiarity with microprocessor/micro-controller base design and/or microprocessor/micro-controller COTS product application is preferred Language/Communication Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Education and/or Experience Bachelors or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is required A minimum of 7 years of related experience in analog, digital, microprocessor/micro Controller application circuit design, preferably in an aerospace environment. Familiarity with digital and analog electronics theory and applications is preferred Having knowledge of electronics design environment: Orcad Schematic capture, FPGA design/development is preferred. AutoCAD is a plus Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise Familiarity with microprocessor/micro-controller base design and/or microprocessor/micro-controller COTS product application is preferred. Analog design with filter, signal conditioning, A/D and D/A circuit is preferred Digital design with CPLD and FPGA using VERILOG preferred. Understanding high voltage power supply application is preferred Having the ability to research component obsolescence and provide recommendation is preferred. Problem Solving
