Electrical Designer Opportunity - Atlanta, GeorgiaAbout the Role We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Designer to join a dynamic and expanding MEP consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to work on high-impact commercial projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical engineering, a passion for design excellence, and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

What You'll Do As an Electrical Designer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems for a variety of commercial buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial facilities.

Preparing detailed construction documents, specifications, and layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Coordinating with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Conducting site visits and assessments to support design development and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Reviewing and applying relevant codes, standards, and regulations to ensure safety and performance.

Participating in project meetings and contributing to design discussions and problem-solving efforts.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the commercial sector.

EIT certification or PE licensure (preferred but not required).Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM.Strong knowledge of NEC, IECC, and other applicable codes and standards.
