Job Description

Our client is a privately owned, rapidly growing company seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to design innovative, reliable, and fully functional products and systems. This role involves creating detailed designs using CAD software, sketches, specifications, and engineering notes. Primary Responsibilities Create detailed engineering drawings, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper relationships between components and assemblies. Review development plans to ensure compliance with established engineering standards and specifications. Verify dimensional accuracy of structural layouts and installations. Collaborate with manufacturing, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure documentation meets project requirements. Work directly with customers and the sales team to support product design and application needs. Develop drawings and designs from concepts, sketches, and engineering notes. Review and evaluate proposed engineering standards, policies, and design details. Manage projects from design through implementation, ensuring timelines and objectives are met. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with PLC programming. Knowledge of electrical circuits and control systems. Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry. Proficiency with CAD and other drafting/design software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving. Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe shop practices. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Interested?
