BIM Coordinator

Summary:

Electrical BIM/VDC coordination role responsible for producing 2D and 3D electrical drawings, trade coordination, shop drawings, and project documentation for field installation. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a BIM/VDC Assistant Coordinator, or 5 years of experience as an Assistant BIM/VDC Detailer, BIM/VDC Detailer, or in a related engineering, technical design, or construction management role Experience using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Proficient understanding of construction blueprints, specifications, and Requests for Information across architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and special systems Knowledge of 3D coordination with other trades Basic computer skills, including folder structure navigation, email attachments, and keyboard shortcuts Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Preferred Skills Experience with AutoCAD Experience with BIM 360 Glue Experience with BIM Collaborate Experience with other model viewing and collaboration software Job Responsibilities Review and produce 2D and 3D electrical drawings for field installations Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes while maintaining budget constraints Produce shop drawings and prepare required documentation Read architectural plans and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design and installation issues Travel to project sites as required Follow operating policies and safety programs

Pay:
