This is a 8 month 1099 contract position with an estimated start date in July 2026 thru March 2027. No sponsorship provided.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management interface on assigned projects. Manages necessary resources for execution scattered across multiple remote sites with different time zones. Lead a team of designers and drafters on the project. Generates design and detail drawings including schematics, wiring, installation details, plans/sections. Interprets area classification drawings and develop area classification details Interacts with Clients to convey project design and identify scope changes that will affect project schedule or client budgets. Interacts with the lead engineer on the project and other departments and suppliers to obtain pertinent information. Reviews project/discipline deliverables for compliance with industry accepted design principles, company standards and customer contract specifications. Attend regular project update meetings with the lead engineer and the client.

Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years design experience Associate Degree in a technical discipline preferred AutoCAD Certificate or minimum of 5 years proven AutoCAD experience Proficient in basic computer functions required to perform AutoCAD 2-D, AutoCAD 3-D, Raster, and MicroStation a plus. Proficient in standard drafting techniques and in field investigations and measurements Knowledge of Codes and Standards Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs TWIC card requirement.
