CONCORD ENGINEERING GROUP, INC.
is searching for an Electrical Designer for our Power & Infrastructure Department located in Voorhees, NJ. We have an immediate need for an Electrical Designer to join us in providing industry-leading design and consulting services to our clients. Our focus is to design and deliver innovative, resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy infrastructure solutions for our clients. This position provides you with an opportunity to develop and participate in growing Concord Engineering's dynamic and industry leading business unit delivering system designs and solutions for power, utility and industrial clients. In this role, you will be expected to develop physical layout and design of electrical systems for power plants, central utility plants and distributed generation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform design, layout, and drafting accurately from preliminary sketches or verbal instructions; ensuring technical correctness of drawings by using applicable job standards and specifications Interpret design drawings from other disciplines, being able to recognize obvious interferences and incompatible designs Perform design calculations accurately and neatly. Maintain records for all calculations
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent understanding of the capabilities, uses, application and operation of Revit and AutoCAD Basic understanding of supplier catalogs required for material and equipment. Meticulous attention to detail Able to prioritize as well as multi-task Excellent communication skills Able to work collaboratively within Concord as well with the client. Able to read, write, speak and understand English
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in related field or relevant experience As an alternative: successful completion of internship program
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $104,000 with actual salary based on experience.
