Technology Designer Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Project team coordination CAD software System design RCDD Mid-level 3 years Revit Low voltage Productivity software Construction documentation Cross-functional collaboration Building information modeling (BIM) tools Cabling Construction project budgeting Full Job Description We are seeking a Technology Designer to support the design of low-voltage building systems for complex projects including laboratories, healthcare, data centers, manufacturing, education, and commercial facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design structured cabling, security, A/V, and other low-voltage systems Develop construction drawings, specifications, and project budgets Coordinate design solutions with internal teams, clients, and external partners Conduct site surveys, observations, and attend project meetings Integrate technology systems with other intelligent building systems
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience designing low-voltage building systems RCDD certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Knowledge of TIA, BICSI, and applicable codes and standards Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 and 28 Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and travel as needed Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office preferred
