Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an I&E Construction Specialist, where you will play a vital role in executing and overseeing instrumentation and electrical (I&E) construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure developments, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, contributing to innovative energy solutions and infrastructure excellence. Duties Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and electrical systems across various construction sites. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, technical specifications, and quality control procedures. Troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical wiring, instrumentation devices, control systems, and automation components. Review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Maintain detailed records of installation progress, inspection reports, and safety documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Support commissioning activities by verifying system functionality and performance according to project requirements. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, control systems, and automation technology. Proven experience in I&E construction within industrial or energy infrastructure projects. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges. Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations and industry best practices for electrical work. Effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and documenting project progress. Certification in electrical or instrumentation trades (e.g., Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent) is preferred.
