This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in Canton, Ohio. Job Purpose Create / Revise electrical drawings including bill of materials. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop electrical drawings (schematics and connections / wiring diagrams) per industry standards and specifications.
Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production.
Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval.
Support production during assembly/wiring process.
Create electrical bill of materials and log data in manufacturing data base.
Ensure project meets requirements of any existing equipment.
Maintain clean and safe work area.
All duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.
Responsible for understanding and executing Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team. Qualifications
Education o 2-year Associates in Electrical Technology or minimum 4 years of medium voltage experience.
Experience o Medium voltage design experience (5 kV to 38 kV) o Power Distribution design experience o Enclosures / Cabinets o Drafting experience
Specialized knowledge o National Electrical Code (NEC), Utility Electric Service Requirements (ESR), ANSI, UL, CA Title 24, State Seal process.
