This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in Canton, Ohio. Job Purpose Create / Revise electrical drawings including bill of materials. Duties and Responsibilities- Develop electrical drawings (schematics and connections / wiring diagrams) per industry standards and specifications.
- Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production.
- Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval.
- Support production during assembly/wiring process.
- Create electrical bill of materials and log data in manufacturing data base.
- Ensure project meets requirements of any existing equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe work area.
- All duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.
- Responsible for understanding and executing Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team. Qualifications
- Education o 2-year Associates in Electrical Technology or minimum 4 years of medium voltage experience.
- Experience o Medium voltage design experience (5 kV to 38 kV) o Power Distribution design experience o Enclosures / Cabinets o Drafting experience
- Specialized knowledge o National Electrical Code (NEC), Utility Electric Service Requirements (ESR), ANSI, UL, CA Title 24, State Seal process.
