As a PLC Controls Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Automation and Project Delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
PLC Controls Engineer II (6-month contract)
Location:
Mason, Ohio (100% onsite when not traveling; ~90% travel across the U.S.)
Pay Range:
$45.00

00 per hour What's the Job? Lead automation projects for material handling systems, including PLC programming and system implementation Develop, test, and commission PLC code both internally and onsite at customer locations Review AutoCAD layouts and electrical schematics to support system design and programming Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams Execute system testing (FAT, UAT, BUAT) and ensure compliance with engineering standards What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 4+ years of Controls Engineering experience in a similar environment Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff) and HMI systems Experience with material handling systems (e-commerce/warehouse automation) Ability and willingness to travel up to 85-90% What's in it for me?
