Join our engineering team and work on unique, custom-engineered projects from concept through startup. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, manufacturing personnel, and customers to create electrical designs that become real-world machines.
What You'll Do :
Design electrical systems for custom industrial machinery and equipment. Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and interconnect drawings. Design industrial control panels and power distribution systems. Select electrical components and prepare bills of material. Size and specify circuit protection devices, transformers, power supplies, motor starters, VFDs, and servo systems. Develop machine safety circuits and control architectures. Create and maintain documentation using AutoCAD Electrical. Support panel fabrication and machine assembly teams. Assist with commissioning and startup activities when required. Work directly with internal teams to develop practical design solutions.
What You Bring:
Experience designing industrial control systems. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software. Understanding of industrial electrical systems and machine controls. Knowledge of
UL 508A, NFPA
79, NEC, and
IEC 60204-1.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Nice to
Have:
Experience working for an OEM, machine builder, systems integrator, or industrial manufacturer. Familiarity with CE-marked machinery. PLC hardware familiarity. PLC programming experience.
Special Requirements:
Be able to work in a drug-free environment. Must pass a pre-employment drug and health screening, as well as random drug tests.
