Description Job Summary
Responsible for performing advanced drafting and layout work, reviewing drawings of moderate complexity for accuracy, and providing guidance to drafting personnel when needed.
Key Responsibilities Develop complete sets of detailed technical drawings, including multi-view layouts, detailed components, and assembly drawings.
Interpret engineering concepts and translate them into clear, accurate drafting documentation.
Work with designs that contain complex features requiring strong visualization and drafting proficiency.
Apply mathematical calculations when necessary to determine weights, capacities, dimensions, material quantities, and other design parameters.
Review and verify drawings and documentation for projects of low to moderate complexity.
Provide limited coordination or oversight to other drafting personnel as assigned.
Utilize information from engineering sketches, prior design documentation, supplier catalogs, and technical references to complete assignments. Qualifications Approximately five years of drafting experience or equivalent technical experience.
Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software is desirable.
