Job Description

A well-established industrial automation system integrator is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This is a hands-on, project-based role where you'll work across the full lifecycle of automation projects•from design and programming through to commissioning and ongoing support. With over 30 years of experience, the company focuses on combining software and hardware to improve plant performance, reliability, and efficiency. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on real systems, solving technical challenges, and seeing projects through from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, and industrial control systems Design and develop control systems for industrial applications Program PLCs (Allen Bradley / Rockwell preferred) Develop and modify
HMI/SCADA
interfaces Create and interpret electrical schematics (AutoCAD or similar) Build and design control panels to industry standards Support installation, startup, and commissioning at customer sites Requirements 2+ years experience in PLC / Controls Engineering or Technician role Strong PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred) Experience working with HMIs, drives, and industrial networks Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex automation issues Ability to read and produce electrical schematics Strong communication and teamwork skills Additional Information ~10-15% travel to customer sites (regional) Primarily on-site role with engineering team Opportunity to work on full lifecycle automation project This is hands-on engineering (not just maintenance).
