ResponsibilitiesAttend and participate in Coordination Meetings (both On-site and Virtual)Attend On-site Co-location sessions as required by specific projectsCollaborate with other Team BIM/CAD Coordinators to share workload and best practiceIdentify and prioritize Coordination Schedule and keep ahead of proposed deadlinesCollaborate with Project Management & Electrical field staff and incorporate direction for the purpose of Electrical Coordination.3D Drafting and Design of ALL Electrical Equipment and SystemsMonitor 3D Model for Trade Clashes, resolve conflicts, and update electrical filesReview Contract Documents and Submittals associated with Coordinated itemsPrepare Shop Drawings for Structural Modifications and any other change requests.

Identify potential Prefabrication items and Model & Detail for assembly.

RequirementsElectrical design experience including knowledge of procedures for production of design development and construction documents.

Experience with Electrical panel coordination, lighting and switchgear layouts.

Strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingMust be a positive, self-motivated individual who works well in a collaborative/team atmosphereWillingness to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, without sacrificing quality or accuracyAbility to take and absorb direction and work on your own.

Excellent organization and documentation skills, and strong attention to detailQualificationsMinimum of 5yrs of experience and demonstrated proficiency designing projects with AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, Revit MEP, BluebeamFamiliarity with Autodesk 360Familiarity with Trimble Point CreatorProficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with applicable building codes and safety lawsExperience as a CAD coordinator in electrical construction, architecture or engineering environment utilizing multiple software platformsRecent Electrical Construction Coordination Experience
