Full Job Description Title:
Electrical Design Technician /
Fire Alarm Designer Location:
Any U.S. office (must live within 50 miles of client's office)
Work Type:
Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
Duration:
7/6/2026 - 2/26/2027
Pay:
$30-$72/hour
Experience Required:
4+ years What You'll Do Design fire alarm and life safety systems for data center projects. Create and update Revit MEP 3D models. Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, vendors, and clients.
Design systems such as:
Fire alarms Smoke detection Fire suppression Security and intrusion systems Leak detection systems Ensure designs comply with NFPA and building codes. Work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
