Opportunity:
A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Designer to support industrial and process plant projects across a variety of manufacturing and heavy industrial environments. This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop detailed electrical and instrumentation designs for facility expansions, upgrades, and new construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop electrical and instrumentation models, schematics, drawings, and project documentation Create and revise AutoCAD drawings from engineering markups and redlines Design cable tray layouts, lighting systems, and electrical routing Size power and control cables and develop cable schedules Develop instrumentation and electrical schematic drawings Perform 3D electrical and instrumentation design using
AVEVA E3D
Generate 2D drawings from 3D models Coordinate with electrical engineers, designers, and other engineering disciplines Support project documentation, RFIs, and submittals
Qualifications:
Experience in industrial electrical design environments Proficiency with AutoCAD required
AVEVA E3D
experience strongly preferred Experience with electrical power distribution, controls, instrumentation, or process plant systems preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
Preferred Backgrounds:
Industrial manufacturing Chemical/process plants EPC/engineering consulting firms Heavy industrial facilities
