Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ingeniero de Control y Automatización to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize automation systems that enhance our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will drive innovation, improve efficiency, and ensure the seamless integration of robotic and control technologies into our production lines. Responsibilities Develop and implement control systems and robotics to automate manufacturing processes. Program and troubleshoot industrial robots. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support system design and maintenance. Conduct root cause analysis on automation issues to identify solutions that improve system reliability and performance. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate tooling, machining, and vision inspection systems into automated workflows. Create detailed AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings for control panels, robotic layouts, and system schematics. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing automation processes to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Skills and Required experience:
BigTreeTech Octopus / Octopus Pro control boards TMC5160 stepper drivers Klipper firmware development and configuration Sensorless homing and motion control Multi-axis motion systems WiFi communications and connected sensors Smartphone-based HMI and machine control interfaces Custom machinery, CNC, robotics, or advanced 3D printer systems Electrical troubleshooting and machine commissioning Southern California candidates are preferred. The ability to occasionally visit our facilities in Murrieta, California and Tijuana, Mexico is highly desirable.
