Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with a growing Tennessee presence, we are seeking a motivated Electrical Designer to join our Nashville/Murfreesboro office. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced Professional Engineers, gain exposure to a wide variety of project types, and develop the technical skills necessary for long-term success in consulting engineering. Responsibilities Assist in the design of electrical systems for commercial and institutional building projects. Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, calculations, and technical reports. Participate in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage, and emergency power system design. Coordinate with architects, owners, engineers, contractors, and project teams. Perform site visits, field investigations, and construction administration support. Learn and apply applicable electrical codes and industry standards. Assist with Revit and AutoCAD modeling and drafting. Contribute to project deliverables while developing technical and professional skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university. 3+ years of experience in consulting engineering, construction, or building systems design. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain. Experience and a strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and building systems. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
