Controls Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to provide project support for smaller scale projects and line optimization. The position involves troubleshooting equipment and modifying existing PLC programs to support lines for heavy industrial equipment production. The role focuses on individual cells rather than entire production lines, with each assignment lasting approximately six weeks before moving on to the next. Responsibilities Provide project support for smaller scale projects and line optimization. Troubleshoot and modify existing PLC programs to support production lines. Work on individual cells, not entire production lines, focusing on one machine for about six weeks before transitioning to the next. Utilize Allen Bradley PLCs and perform PLC troubleshooting and modification. Engage in robotic programming and handle HMI tasks. Design electrical schematics as needed. Essential Skills Experience with PLC troubleshooting and modification. Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs. Expertise in controls engineering and PLC programming. Robotic experience and programming skills. Familiarity with HMI technology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrical schematic design knowledge is a plus. Experience in electrical engineering or related field. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally automotive. Ability to prioritize and maintain focus amidst rapidly changing situations. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced, offering a flexible schedule with holiday and vacation benefits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
