Electrical Commissioning Specialist Location:
Dallas, TX (Travel Required) The Telios Construction Management (TCM) team brings complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and technology solutions from design to construction, utilizing a hands-on approach from the project's inception through completion. With our knowledge of critical infrastructure and building systems, we are uniquely positioned to bring value to the construction process. Specific areas of responsibility include the following:
Responsibilities:
Implementation of the commissioning (Cx) process, specific to electrical systems on associated projects by means of document development, field observations, and onsite testing Interacts with client' staff, facility owners and operators, engineers and building construction trades Review of RFI's, shop drawings and equipment submittals Serves as the technical content expert relative to mechanical systems installation, and testing Responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the commissioning process for the electrical systems Ensures installation complies with local codes and national standards Develops detailed Functional Performance Test (FPT) procedures for issue to contractor Performs field observations and develop field reports Observes equipment startups, test/balance activities and administer system functional performance testing
Minimum Criteria:
Minimum of 1 year of commissioning MEP systems and demonstrated knowledge of mission critical design concepts and critical operating facilities; bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management will be considered in lieu of commissioning experience Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent Demonstrated work experience and knowledge of electrical codes and standards Must have the ability to travel domestically 50% of the time An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related program is preferred CxA certification is preferred
