Job Description

FACILITIES DRAFTER - MEP AUTOCAD
DALLAS, TEXAS - 2026-05-12 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Drafter (MEP AutoCAD) to support projects within semiconductor manufacturing environments. In this role, you will partner with engineering and project teams to develop, modify, and maintain technical drawings and documentation for facility and equipment-related initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, experience interpreting building drawings, and a working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing environments.
FACILITIES DRAFTER AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, revise, and maintain mechanical, electrical, chemical, gas, and architectural drawings using AutoCAD Prepare schematic designs and design development plans in collaboration with the team Coordinate with external engineering firms and provide facility plans as needed Interpret building drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Perform BIM audits of external design firm drawings to ensure compliance with customer standards Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project workflows while adhering to company standards Partner with engineering teams to update fab and sub-fab layouts Develop "what-if" design scenarios to support engineering analysis Update as-built drawings and maintain the master database in Meridian Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to support project execution Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project requirements Support facility maintenance, upgrades, and construction documentation Assist with drafting updates for semiconductor manufacturing systems and layouts Maintain accurate records and organized drawing archives
THE IDEAL PERSON FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS
Experience in MEP and or architectural drafting Experience supporting large facility projects from design development through as-built documentation Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Familiarity with document management systems Ability to read and interpret building drawings and blueprints Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Self-motivated, quick learner with effective time management skills
