Dallas, Texas — In Office (Also have offices in Lawrence & Wichita, Kansas)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM•4:00
PM Pay Range:
$20.00•$35.00+ per hour depending on starting level and experience This is an office-based technical role that helps plan how electrical systems are installed before construction begins. You will help create the digital construction drawings used to build major projects across the U.S.

A CAD/BIM
user seeking growth in construction technology You do not need prior BIM software experience. We hire for attitude, work ethic, and field knowledge, and train the technical software. What You'll Do Working under experienced team members, you will learn to use Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam to help plan electrical installations before crews arrive onsite.
Typical work includes:
Setting up and organizing electrical construction drawings Assisting with layout of conduit routing and electrical systems Placing devices and components into 3D models Updating and annotating construction plans Reviewing drawings for installation conflicts Communicating questions and progress with the team Documenting discrepancies between drawings and field conditions Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other trades As your skills develop, you will take on increasing project responsibility and higher pay levels. Backgrounds That Do Well In This Role We hire from many different backgrounds. Helpful experience (not required): Electrical or construction field experience Commercial electricians or apprentices Trade workers transitioning indoors CAD / drafting experience Architecture or engineering coursework Strong computer or gaming skills Mechanically inclined or detail-oriented work Requirements Ability to work in office full-time Clear written & verbal communication Willingness to learn technical software Strong attention to detail Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Training & Career Growth This role is the entry point into our VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) career path.
