Job Description
Looking for a traveling controls contractor who knows their way around PLC programming and SCADA systems. This is a fully onsite role at an active renewable energy site in West Texas — Fort Stockton.
What the work looks like:
- PLC programming and control logic modifications on live plant systems
- SCADA administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- OPC communications diagnosis and resolution
- Directing junior engineers and contractors on technical tasks
- Control system patches, calibration, and alarm management What you need:
- 8+ years hands-on PLC programming — not just maintenance, actual logic work
- SCADA system experience (admin and programming, not just monitoring)
- OPC communications troubleshooting
- Comfortable being the senior technical person on site The details:
