Emerald Luxury Coaches is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Bay Technician to support the design, installation, and organization of all electrical systems within custom-built motor coach living quarters. This role focuses on the electrical bay—the central hub where all wiring, power distribution, and control systems are routed and managed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, route, and install wiring systems for custom motor coach conversions, including 12V, 24V, and 120/240V systems Build and maintain clean, organized electrical bays with properly labeled and secured wiring Install and connect electrical components such as inverters, converters, breakers, relays, and battery systems Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and build plans Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics on completed systems Ensure all wiring meets safety standards, quality expectations, and company guidelines Collaborate with fabrication, plumbing, and interior teams to integrate systems seamlessly Maintain accurate documentation of wiring layouts and system configurations Perform quality control checks and testing before final delivery
Qualifications:
• Experience with electrical systems (RV, automotive, marine, or similar preferred) Strong understanding of DC and AC electrical systems Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, organized work Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or on a team Basic hand and power tool proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with custom coach, RV, or van conversions Knowledge of solar systems, lithium battery setups, and energy management systems Familiarity with multiplex wiring or smart control systems
Work Environment:
• Hands-on work in a shop setting May require working in tight spaces within motor coach bays Fast-paced, custom fabrication environment with a focus on high-end quality
