Job Title:
Controls Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Controls Engineer to join our team in supporting our growing engineering activities related to equipment and tooling. This role offers competitive salaries, benefits, and engaging assignments that challenge and inspire. Responsibilities Develop Electrical and Control system design concepts and details to meet customer requirements, including schematics, PLC and HMI programs, and bills of materials. Collaborate with other engineers, management, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee in-shop fabrication and testing of designs, as well as installation and testing at the owner's job site. Develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects. Perform detailed technical work while ensuring projects remain on budget and on schedule. Assist with developing system design concepts and proposals, including conceptual designs, descriptions, bills of materials, and proposal pricing. Essential Skills PLC programming Rockwell Electrical engineering Mechanical engineering AutoCAD HMI programming Mechatronics Automation Robotics Additional Skills & Qualifications College graduate with a BSEE degree; varying levels of experience will be considered. Experience in conceiving, designing, documenting, programming, and testing sophisticated electrical and control systems for equipment and tooling applications. Personable, punctual, dependable, and presentable. Quality workmanship, error-free work, and attention to detail are essential. Ability to work well with other engineers on multi-disciplined technical teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills with management, customers, suppliers, and co-workers. Experience with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, PC, PLC, and HMI programming software is desirable. Experience with mechatronics, robotics, and automation is desirable. Work Environment The role is within a small company with a total of 7 employees, fostering a strong team environment. Engineers here are tenured and expected to wear multiple hats, engaging hands-on with projects. The ideal candidate should take projects from initiation to completion with a proactive attitude. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $124800.00 - $156000.00/yr.Candidate compensation and benefits:
