Job Description

VDC Technician We are seeking an entry‑level VDC Technician to support our design and construction teams by developing and maintaining virtual models and construction documents. This is an excellent opportunity for recent architecture graduates or early‑career professionals looking to build hands‑on experience in Virtual Design & Construction. What This Role Does Assist with the development of 3D models using Revit and other BIM/VDC tools Support architectural and construction teams by updating drawings and coordinating model information Produce construction documentation under the guidance of senior VDC staff, architects, or project managers Assist with clash detection, model coordination, and design updates Translate architectural and engineering drawings into accurate digital models Maintain organized project files, drawings, and model versions Participate in coordination meetings and learn industry workflows and best practices Support continuous improvement of VDC standards and processes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field OR an Associate's degree with relevant coursework or internship experience Basic proficiency in Revit (academic or internship experience is acceptable) Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction documents Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good written and verbal communication skills Preferred / Nice to Have Exposure to BIM, VDC, or 3D modeling concepts Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or SketchUp Internship or academic project experience in architecture or construction Interest in construction technology and digital design workflows Why This Role Is a Great Fit for New Grads Hands‑on experience with real projects and mentorship from experienced professionals Clear growth path into VDC Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or Architectural roles Collaborative environment that supports learning and professional development Opportunity to work at the intersection of design and construction Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
