Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead AV Systems Engineer & Integrator to spearhead the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced audiovisual (AV) systems across diverse environments. In this pivotal role, you will lead technical projects from conception through execution, ensuring seamless integration of AV solutions that enhance communication and collaboration. Your expertise will drive innovative AV system implementations, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor team members to uphold the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of integrated AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and control systems. Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to develop detailed schematics and system layouts aligned with project specifications. Perform field service tasks such as troubleshooting software and hardware issues, conducting maintenance routines, and resolving system malfunctions efficiently. Manage cabling infrastructure, electrical connections, and mechanical components to ensure robust and reliable AV system performance. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to install and modify low voltage wiring, telecommunication lines, and electrical components in various settings. Conduct comprehensive testing of AV systems using software troubleshooting techniques to identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions. Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users to maximize system utilization and satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in Electrical Engineering & Integration (E&I), with a strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Hands-on expertise with low voltage cabling, mechanical installation techniques, and telecommunication infrastructure. Demonstrated ability in field service operations including troubleshooting software glitches and hardware failures within complex AV systems. Proficiency with computer hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance for AV applications. Knowledge of schematics interpretation, electrical codes, safety standards related to low voltage systems, and mechanical knowledge relevant to AV installations. Strong communication skills combined with leadership qualities to guide project teams effectively. $37,440.00 - $62,400.00 per year
