Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on SMT / Electronics Manufacturing Engineer with experience in PCB assembly processes. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing SMT production lines, improving yield, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support end-to-end SMT process (solder paste printing, placement, reflow, inspection) Troubleshoot defects related to soldering, components, and assembly Work on process improvement, yield enhancement, and quality control Handle SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection processes Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and line setup activities Ensure compliance with IPC standards and manufacturing guidelines Coordinate with cross-functional teams (quality, production, engineering)
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in
SMT / PCB
assembly / electronics manufacturing Hands-on knowledge of solder paste printing, pick & place, and reflow ovens Familiarity with inspection systems (SPI, AOI, X-ray) Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and
J-STD-001
standards Experience with troubleshooting and defect analysis Exposure to equipment like Koh Young, Fuji, Mycronic, BTU, Nordson (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Good to

Experience in conformal coating, selective soldering, or underfill Knowledge of MES systems like FactoryLogix NPI and process optimization experience
