System Engineer Sr

Description:

We are Lockheed Martin The F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking a Discipline Engineer to support current mission planning tasking and to expand the Utilities and Subsystems capabilities for F-35 Developmental Test. Candidate will work directly with the flight test team, pilots, and the Subsystems IPT to plan, execute, and analyze flight test events. Perform post-mission data analysis, lead complex troubleshooting aircraft anomalies, and review and update documentation and instructions to facilitate fielding of vehicle systems components. Job entails aircraft system monitoring and troubleshooting anomalies in real time. Support root cause analysis for off nominal events and generate corrective action recommendations. Provide technical support to test pilots, flight test crews, and maintenance personnel as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline
• Demonstrated experience with Utilities and Subsystems design, integration, or flight test
• Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level
• Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation
• Must be a U.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in real time discipline control room monitoring
• Knowledge of

data analysis tools

• Proficiency with MATLab and/or Python
• Exposure to IADS

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300

• $157,550.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

• $178,135.
