Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Field Service Technician for a direct hire opportunity based in Livermore, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on service professional with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving equipment issues in the field and working directly with customers. This position supports equipment diagnostics, repairs, technical assistance, and service coordination across customer sites, company facilities, and business partner locations. The role offers a strong opportunity to work with complex equipment, travel extensively, and be part of a service-focused team that values safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues at customer sites, company facilities, and partner locations.
  • Respond to customer service requests, assess equipment symptoms, identify repair needs, and recommend effective service solutions.
  • Perform hands-on field and shop repairs while researching required spare parts and supporting parts recommendations.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal teams, external customers, and business partners in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Complete service reports, yard and damage reports, documentation, maintenance records, and related service department files.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, operating, and technical procedures while supporting equipment uptime and customer satisfaction. Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Salary range: $110,000 to $124,000 per year.
  • Location:
    Livermore, CA.
  • Travel requirement: 80% to 90% travel, including potential international travel.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call duty as needed.
