We are seeking an innovative and talented Systems Engineer to provide engineering support to a team responsible for maintaining and operating a high priority operational system at a high level of availability. The candidate must have the ability to be a technically minded problem-solver, be able to focus on the task at hand, follow through on the prescribed plan, and the ability to be flexible and think under pressure. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and have a strong desire to learn and have a team player attitude. Other duties include providing inputs to CONOP development, RFCs, and future baselines/capabilities. Responsible for carrying pager (approx. one week every two months) and responding to anomalies.
Location:
Aurora, Colorado Your Responsibilities Provide support to Mission Planning functions. Diagnose and resolve unexpected software and hardware issues independently and in collaboration with cross-functional experts. Develop and maintain scripts/web tools. Provide support to Integration and test. Identify process improvements and software enhancements. Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams. Participate in and, when appropriate, lead technical working groups. Prepare and deliver presentations, providing clear, data-driven recommendations to customers and management. What We Are Looking For Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience. Experience with scripting and programming languages, including UNIX/Linux, PERL, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML/XML, C++, SQL, and MySQL. An active and transferable
TS/SCI CI
