Join Our Team as a Circuit Design Engineer that enables successful manufacture, test, and delivery of critical power components for the LM2100 and LM400 satellites. As part of a central organization, our team supports a wide variety of exciting space programs and customers. This position does not support teleworking ;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Design and develop Power electronics assemblies.
• Manufacturing and test support for (or including) defect and anomaly resolution.
• Support failure investigation processes, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Lead requirements management, verification, and hardware acceptance.
• Technical liaison for the hardware with both Production and Program teams. To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Prior work designing and analyzing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
• 1+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with analog/power circuit design and circuit analysis.
• Electronics testing and troubleshooting experience.
• US Citizenship is required for the programs supported.

Desired Skills:

• Aerospace power subsystem components
• Motivation to learn new concepts and skills
• DC to DC converter topologies such as Flyback, Buck and Boost
• Unit level electronics testing and troubleshooting
• Power electronics testing and troubleshooting
• Analysis or simulation of power electronics
• Engineering tools such as Zuken, LTSPICE, SIMPLIS, MATHCAD or similar products
• Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Electrical Part Stress Analysis (EPSA)
• Problem solving and electronics troubleshooting skills including root cause and failure overstress analysis
• Circuit board layout and principles
• Selection of parts for high reliability applications
• Systems engineering and requirements verification

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $79,700 - $140,530. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
