Draper's contested environment Integration and Test (I&T) group is looking for an experienced and well-rounded electronics testing engineer with an established history of test definition, planning, execution, and reporting. The candidate should have experience working with a variety of test instrumentation, and exposure to developing hardware control software. Experience with conducting field tests, working with analog or digital devices, circuit board design, and leading teams are also desirable. An ideal candidate would also have hands on experience with testing in one or more of the following radiation environments (and effects):- Sustained X/Gamma-rays (TID)
- Flash X-Ray (prompt dose, dose rate)
- Heavy Ions (SEE)
- Protons (SEE)
- Thermal/fast Neutrons (nSEE, DD) While prior radiation testing experience is desired, it is not required.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities- Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan.
- Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
- Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
- Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities

Additional Job Description:
Candidates are expected to work primarily out of Draper's St. Petersburg (Rapid Prototyping Center), FL office. Travel to support testing and other efforts will be required for this position. Less than 25% in a given year is expected. Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Active clearances are preferred.
