Winder, GA Job Details Full-time From $35.61 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Professional networking Product presentation CCNP System design Visio Technical support Sales presentations Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic AV Design Engineer specializing in Audio Visual Pre-Sales to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be the technical resource for the life cycle of a project, from pre-sales site surveys, design, project support, commissioning, and customer training.
Responsibilities Pre-Sales and Sales Support:
  • Perform site surveys to understand client needs, technical requirements, project scope
  • Develop System designs,
Bill of Materials, and Labor Estimates AV System Design:
  • Produce system drawings, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations using AutoCAD or Visio
  • Design AV systems for corporate office space, conference rooms, training rooms, divisible rooms, K-12 Classrooms, Background Audio, Paging, Sound Masking
  • Specify commercial AV equipment across leading manufacturers, and understand what parts are compatible with each other
Project Support and Technical Oversight:
  • Work with field techs to provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning
  • Assist with commissioning or being able to perform control system and DSP programming
  • Develop as-built documents
  • Provide customer training
Client/Vendor Relationships:
  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manufacturers, and distribution partners
  • Be a trusted technical resource for clients through project lifecycle
  • Stay current on new technologies and AV trends
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability in pre-sales activities, including product demos, technical presentations, and client engagement strategies
  • AVIXA Member
  • CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D Certification required
  • Cisco Certified (CLTECH, CCNP, Cisco Telepresence)
  • Crestron Certified (CCP, DM NVX) - Programming experience a plus
  • Understand design software AutoCAD and/or
Visio Pay:
From $35.61 per hour
