On-site The Impact You'll Make A s our Power Electronics Engineer , you'll play a key role in investigating and benchmarking IGBT, SiC chip characteristics and performance. You'll also take charge of simulation with focus on elect romagnetic design, thermal design and switching performance of power modules. What You'll Be Doing Perform loss and Tj simulation for modules with different chipsets; Perform electromagnetic simulation to extract parasitic inductance and parasitic resistance, and use these parameters to perform switching behavior simulation of power modules; Perform electromagnetic simulation to analyze current distribution of paralleled chips in power modules; Perform thermal simulation to analyze temperature distribution of chips, as well as temperature of other materials in power modules; Creation and optimization of chip layout and wire bonding of power modules in cooperation with Product development; Create SemiSel (Semikron Danfoss simulation tool) database for modules developed in Nanjing; What We're Looking For Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study; Over 8 years (Bachelor) or 5 years (Master) of experience in power electronics or power electronic applications; Deep understanding of IGBT/SiC power module packaging technologies and materials; Deep understanding of IGBT and SiC characteristics and switching behaviors; Able to identify and evaluate pros and cons of IGBT/SiC chips, as well as power module packages; Hands-on experience in IGBT/SiC module simulation, proficiency in using simulation tools like ANSYS Q3D, Icepak, LTspice or alike; English can be used as working language.
