Traveling Amusement Technician -
Greater Chicago Area Pay:
$28.00-$31.00 per hour

Location Greater Chicago Area (with travel throughout the Midwest and national travel opportunities) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling Technician to support our amusement operations throughout the Greater Chicago region and surrounding states. This role involves traveling to family entertainment centers to repair, test, and stock amusement machines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics or electro‑mechanical systems, solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, and basic networking skills. Industry experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Travel to family entertainment centers throughout the Midwest to perform repairs, testing, and stocking of amusement machines. Assist with the installation of new amusement equipment at locations nationwide. Manage an arcade sweep schedule to ensure all machines operate efficiently and reliably. Maintain regular communication with assigned locations to coordinate service needs and provide remote support for minor repairs. Maintain parts inventory and assist with prize stock management at serviced locations. Provide remote technical assistance to other technicians as needed. Qualifications Strong background in electronics or electro‑mechanical systems. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Basic networking skills. Industry experience preferred. Clean driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to various work environments.
