OEM Technical Field Service Support

About the Role Aqua Hot is seeking an OEM Technical Support Representative in Elkhart, Indiana, to serve as the primary technical interface between Aqua Hot and our RV OEM partners. This role supports OEMs during system integration, installation, and production by providing on-site technical assistance, installation audits, and hands on support. When OEM teams need expert guidance, clarification, or on the floor technical help related to Aqua Hot systems, this is the person they call. You'll play a critical role in ensuring Aqua Hot systems are installed correctly, perform as intended, and fit seamlessly into OEM manufacturing processes. What You'll Do Serve as the primary on site technical contact for assigned OEM accounts Provide hands on technical support at OEM manufacturing facilities Support OEM teams with: 1. System startup and commissioning; 2. Installation validation and best practices; 3. Production line technical questions Perform installation audits to ensure compliance with Aqua Hot specifications Help diagnose and resolve system level concerns promptly to minimize production disruption Work directly with OEM production, quality, and engineering teams Act as the liaison between OEMs and Aqua Hot engineering, quality, and support organizations Document findings, actions, and recurring opportunities for improvement Support continuous improvement by feeding OEM insights back into Aqua Hot product and process development What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands on technical experience in: HVAC, hydronic heating, diesel systems, or similar mechanical/electrical systems Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing or OEM environment Comfortable working on production lines and interacting directly with customers Strong communication skills and professional presence Ability to manage multiple OEM priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel locally between Elkhart area OEM facilities Travel & Vehicle Requirements Frequent local travel between Elkhart area OEM facilities is required This role uses the employee's personal vehicle for local travel Mileage is reimbursed according to company policy Valid driver's license and insurance are required Preferred Experience RV, marine, automotive, or heavy equipment industry experience Prior OEM technical support or field service experience Familiarity with diesel fired heaters or hydronic systems Experience supporting new model introductions or production launches
