Contract (Potential Extension) Job Description A global automotive technology organization specializing in electric vehicle solutions is expanding rapidly to support increased demand for inverter modules within the automotive space . This position is a new addition to the manufacturing engineering team in and will play a critical role in supporting growth and new program launches. The primary focus of this position is leading inverter equipment startup projects , qualifying equipment for mass production, and coordinating technical personnel. This role offers exposure to a wide range of manufacturing processes and collaboration with cross‑functional teams at both domestic and international levels. Key Responsibilities Ensure manufacturing equipment specifications align with production and regional requirements Confirm equipment installation meets defined technical specifications Ensure production equipment is safe for all associates Verify product requirements through in‑process and online testing, including daily verification and validation Support testing trials and experiments for internal and customer issues, including implementing countermeasures Lead and manage small groups of engineers, technicians, or contractors Job Responsibility Breakdown Evaluate new inverter products, processes, and manufacturing equipment
  • 40% Support development of technology, resource planning, and production requirements
  • 30% Support new business opportunity evaluations
  • 20% Support mass production equipment issues and develop solutions
  • 5% Other duties as assigned to support corporate objectives
  • 5% Required Skills Hardware-focused manufacturing engineering experience Inverter or power electronics exposure Automotive or electronics manufacturing environment experience Equipment installation and validation Electromechanical systems knowledge Capital equipment (CAPEX) experience Additional Qualifications Experience in the automotive industry with an emphasis on electro‑mechanical products Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with approximately 10 years of relevant experience Knowledge of EV components such as inverters and motors preferred Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and related quality tools Experience in electronics manufacturing environments Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to cross‑functional teams and leadership Proven ability to lead projects across multiple departments Experience preparing schedules, budgets, and reports Experience Level Intermediate to Senior Level If you have interest in hearing more about this opportunity, please email me directly at jandriole@actalentservices.
