ABOUT THE POSITION
The role of Product Engineer includes generating and maintaining technical data packages for multiple projects (mechanical/design/process). This role will provide technical customer interface for projects, provide technical product knowledge in support of solving manufacturing problems, development of product-related tooling, fixtures, and assembly process. Responsibilities Generate and maintain technical data packages including drawings, manufacturing documentation, tooling, and test procedures Provide technical expertise by solving engineering and production issues to support the facility Able to interface with both Internal and External Customers Ensures product drawing are to the correct revision and uploaded into the ERP system Design tooling and fixtures to support the manufacturing process Work with Manufacturing to identify and resolve issues associated with manufacturing, assembly, and test of batteries All other duties as assigned by Supervisor Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field. Minimum of three years' work experience in a related engineering preferred, but not required subject to other qualifications. Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor, or other CAD tools. Proficiency with MS Office programs, especially Word and Excel. Geometric, Dimensioning, & Tolerance knowledge, including Tolerance Analysis preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self -starter and schedule-driven. U.S. Persons.
