AV Broadcast Engineer Temple Shir Tikvah Winchester, MA Job Details Part-time | Freelance $175 - $200 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications YouTube Live event AV production projects Digital asset management Windows Live event audio projects Full Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a versatile Solo Broadcast Engineer to manage end-to-end technical production for weekly worship services from September through June and occasional special events. You will be responsible for FOH (Front of House) sanctuary audio, for FOH liturgy and media display, and for the broadcast signal chain from microphones and cameras to the final Zoom and StreamSpot live stream destinations, ensuring a polished, professional experience for both our in-person and our remote audiences. Core Responsibilities •
Technical Direction:
Execute multi camera switching using a Skaarhoj Rack Fusion Live controller and manage Canon and PTZOptics camera movements and presets. •
Audio Engineering:
Manage FOH and broadcast mixes on a Behringer X32 mixer using X32-Edit software, and setup and oversee Shure wireless and wired microphones. •
Displays :
Control four displays (three in the Sanctuary and one in a downstairs meeting hall) using an Atlona switcher (software-controlled) • Live streaming
Software:
Operate vMix software on Windows to control live streams to Zoom and StreamSpot (routed to the Temple website, YouTube, and Facebook). •
Client Interface:
Serve as the primary audio-visual technical contact for clergy and speakers before and during services. Translate creative visions into technical reality and manage the delivery of digital assets. Technical Environment •
Video:
7 Canon and PTZOptics PTZ cameras (controlled via IP / Skaarhoj Rack Fusion Live) •
Audio:
Behringer X32 (controlled via software and Stream Deck) / Shure wired and wireless microphones •
Displays:
4 screens, software-controlled with Atlona switcher •
Software:
vMix, X32-Edit (for mixer), Zoom, Windows 11 •
Live Streaming:
StreamSpot and Zoom (both through vMix) Training and documentation on vMix, X32-Edit, and other software can be provided as necessary. Schedule Regular weekly Friday evening services September through June; occasional special events in addition to the regular Friday evening services.
Pay:
$175.00 - $200.00 per hour
