Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities ===================================== a. Assemble, integrate, and maintain real-time embedded hardware systems and electronic assemblies. b. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and corrective maintenance of embedded hardware components and subsystems. c. Support hardware and software integration, system power-up, and functional testing activities. d. Understand engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for system assembly. e. Configure and maintain laboratory, test, and development equipment used for embedded system testing. f. Conduct continuity checks, signal verification, and system-level diagnostics using standard electronic test equipment. g. Install, upgrade, and replace hardware components, cables, circuit cards, and peripheral devices.

•Required Qualifications ======================= a. Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or related technical field; equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted. b. Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting electronic, embedded, or real-time hardware systems. c. Experience assembling, integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining embedded electronic hardware systems. d. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals. e. Proficiency using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, logic analyzers, and power supplies. f. Familiarity with VME, VPX, PCIe, Ethernet, serial communications, or tactical data interfaces. Desired Qualifications. ======================= a. Prior experience supporting DoD, Navy, or other military embedded systems programs. b. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded computing platforms. c.
