Job Description
The Subject Matter Expert will serve as the reference for High Voltage Power Electronics development & validation methods and practices. They will function as a technical leader within their team to mature the state of development & validation activities. This includes staying aware of industry trends, coaching, and development of standard operating procedures and best practices. This individual contributor will support multiple components and programs while leading continuous improvement initiatives. A qualified candidate will have a mix of hands-on testing experience and technical documentation writing experience within a relevant field. Major Job Elements /
Responsibilities:
Become the subject matter expert for all High Voltage Power Electronics development & validation methods and practices, with an emphasis on High Voltage Power Inverter ModulesAuthor and publish various technical documents, e.g. standard operating procedures, validation specifications, etc.
Author, review, and comprehend performance and durability requirements for High Voltage Power Inverter ModulesProvide technical expertise and direction during DFMEA and DRBTR activitiesHelp align the team with virtual engineering activitiesBe aware of relevant industry trends, standards, and regulationsBe aware of field performance and failures for Stellantis High Voltage Power Electronics components, especially High Voltage Power Inverter ModulesMentor team members on best practices and effective problem solvingCollect, process, and present typical engineering data, e.g. time-series data acquisition from physical testingAuthor incident reports via the Stellantis problem tracking system for product issues discovered during DVP&R activitiesComprehend accelerated testing and reliability demonstration, perform related calculationsWrite work orders, purchase requests, etc. for outsourced testing and other procurement
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree field8 or more years of relevant professional experienceEnglish fluency, both written and verbalDemonstrated expert-level technical report writing abilityProficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams or SharePointKnowledge of DVP&R, DRBTR, and DFMEA creation & executionKnowledge of High Voltage Power Electronics devices and construction, especially High Voltage Power Inverter ModulesBe available full-time, on-site at the CTC location in
