Job Description

Who You Are
The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing FANUC America internal and external customers with a high level of support. Duties will also include communications with multiple FAC engineering groups to resolve technical Field Failure and Service issues. The Senior Technical Specialist will have the experience of managing and coordinate activities related to field rework programs. The Senior Technical Specialist will provide advanced technical support to Field Service Engineers as an escalation resource and provide the interface to other engineering groups as required. The Senior Technical Specialist takes on a leadership role supporting multiple service resources and customers. How It's Done Management and data collection as part of a Field Failure investigation or rework for reoccurring problems that may be the result of a product design or manufacture error
Provide meeting minutes, documenting verbal communication, regular customer communication, schedules, open issues tracking, and prioritization of work load
Ability to cross functionally work with all FANUC Robotics' segments to develop infield product rework projects and technical documentation
Organize and coordinate large rework campaigns across multiple customers.
Setup, participate and run internal and customer meetings virtually and in person
Establish relationships with key customers to facilitate execution of projects and customer concerns
Some travel required for the project coordination and execution to meet project requirements
Documenting FANUC robot and related peripheral equipment performance and reporting failure modes and results for the purpose reporting to the customer and FAC responsible Engineering groups.
Highly adaptable and responsive to changing priorities, work environments, and challenges, with a willingness to take on new tasks as needed
Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet critical deadlines, respond to customer needs, and ensure timely completion of service commitments. What You Need Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in robotics integration, field service, or related technical roles, demonstrating advanced knowledge and practical application of robotic systems.
Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed to support installation, maintenance, and service requirements in alignment with business objectives.
Must possess a valid driver's license or have the ability to obtain and maintain one in accordance with company and legal requirements What Would Be Even Better Demonstrated experience working with FANUC robots, controllers, and peripheral equipment, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Strong proficiency in FANUC application software and robot programming, with the ability to develop, modify, and optimize programs to meet application requirements.
Proven ability to work safely and effectively in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards, maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Well-developed technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, accurate, and detailed documentation, reports, and service records.
Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to customers, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders. It's Your Move
