1 virtual round, cameras on We are seeking a Power Electronics Test Engineer with strong experience in analog and digital electronics, LabVIEW, TestStand, automated test systems, and production test procedures. This role will support engineering activities for electronics components and replacement parts used in highly regulated power plant applications. The selected candidate will develop specifications, testing procedures, inspections, and technical documentation while working closely with sourcing, quality, product teams, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve technical issues related to current projects, equipment under test, and in-service platforms Support detailed design, manufacturing, and testing activities to ensure on-time delivery Provide power electronics solutions for products and projects Manage requirements, design, verification, and testing of power distribution and control products Develop manual and automated production test procedures Support technicians during various testing activities Troubleshoot analog and digital electronics using engineering best practices Write and maintain technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of power electronics experience in an engineering role Prior experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand Experience with analog and digital electronics design, verification, and testing Hands-on experience with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related instrumentation Experience with automated test systems and automated test program development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated environments Knowledge of power switching and control circuitry Experience with design for manufacturing and test methodologies Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination skills Experience working with suppliers and cross-organizational teams Technical leadership experience in integration activities This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on electronics testing, troubleshooting, automation, and technical documentation in a mission-critical engineering environment.
